Holidays: Day 11:Pretties





It may seem faintly ridiculous but just looking at these fabrics, these cushions I made and the bits and bobs I bought in the Typo sale this week make me happy.  Profusion of colour, beautiful greens, the thought that we could just run away and move to Paris.

Beauty, whether it is in colour, form, line or sensory, gives pleasure.  There is so much crap around, I'm revelling in little bits of beauty, little bits of majesty and I want to fill my heart and mind with as much of it as possible in 2013.  How about you?  What are you delighting in this last few days of the old year?

  1. That's so true, beauty is found in so many forms, we should surround ourselves with more of the things that make us happy! I'm delighting in getting a kickstart to the New Year by focussing on looking forward & taking better care of myself, Happy New Year to you x
