What a classic photo!
A day out in the city. Simply enjoying life with Janelle my neighbour and her son Mr B.
Rather strange and rather large. Rubber Ducky, you're the one...
Love the little hands pressed up against the glass. The anemones were a delicate pink colour and my favourite (the upside down jellyfish), I couldn't get near to get a photo of as it had so many admirers.
My rock climber.
An adventurer too.
Fearsome and toothy. 'Ello, my name's Bruce!
This chap was backlit in red and had a great big magnified aquarium glass thingummybobby to make him appear even more enormous. Apparently he wouldn't be scary enough being his maximum 3.8m in diameter self.
Such a fun day out. Thanks Janelle for inviting us along.
Back in the UK the parents are having 15-20cm of snow, schools are closing because of the bad weather and everyone's rugged up. Here on the other side of the planet however, we have the flipside. Tomorrow's going to be a shocker between 37 and 42 deg C. We're battening down the hatches too... just to keep the sun out and the house as cool as can be. You'll find me lying under the fan sucking ice lollies.

That duck! I want one! Ha, no seriously, though, looks like an awesome day. Wish you luck with the sun-avoiding!
ReplyDeleteit was really bizarre coming round the corner and seeing it so enormous sitting in the harbour I can tell you! Thanks Vinty!
DeleteBeen enjoying your holiday updates my dear! Take care in that summer heat - can't believe it has been as scorching as that over there!! CRAZY!!
ReplyDeleteThink your girls are gorgeous - hope Thierry is practising carrying that baseball bat and his intimidating father look!
Thanks lovely Gail! Can't believe it's another two years and Pikalily will be highschool - scary as!
DeleteHow did you manage yesterday? Enjoy the cool change today!
ReplyDeleteHey Re, thanks, surprisingly well actually. Only got a bit yukky towards the evening when I was trying to cook in a hot kitchen with very little space and Little Bun was having a tantie wanting to help me! Grrrr. Got the slip and slide out which helped and kept them occupied a bit! How did you go? I hear Melb was pretty scorching too this week!!
