The sunrises have been extraordinary this week. As the sun gets ready rise over the horizon, the side of the cloud that faces the sun is tinged with pink and orange and sometimes outlined with gold.
It has been, quite simply, glorious.
It has made me think: As we face God, as we spend time with him, his glory lights us up and makes us beautiful. He takes our darkness, our odd shapes and quirks and he makes them into light, a breath-taking vision.

Ohhhhh my goodness, that picture is beautiful! I love it when it's dark out in the morning, and then all of a sudden it's getting bright so fast. It's a lovely thing to see. Sadly, I'm mostly inside (through no fault of my own, nor choice) to be able to see the actual sunrise...but having the light slowly creep back into the early morning hours...ah. Delicious.
